Microsoft na Computexu představil nový operační systém s kódovým označením Windows 8!
Hlavní novinkou je radikální změna vzhledu. Microsoft se inspiroval ve svém operačním systému Windows Phone 7, díky tomu přejdeme ze základního zobrazení uživatelského rozhraní na takzvané “dlaždice”.
I když se možná zaleknete celkové nepřehlednosti a nepraktičnosti, opravdu tomu tak není. ”Dlaždice” se dají upravovat, můžete si nastavit barvu, nebo pokud máte složku s hudbou, můžete si vybrat aby se vám na dlaždici zobrazovala hudba srovnaná podle alb, playlistů nebo interpretů.
Celé dlaždice se dají jedním prstem (pro uživatele tabletů) přesouvat do dalších oken, a dynamicky upravovat.
Microsoft se ale poučil ze svých starých chyb, jako byla změna vzhledu z “XPček” na Visty, a tak se dá z uživatelského rozhraní dlaždic přepnou, klidně i na trvalo, do starého známého zobrazení.
Firmě Dell před nedávnem unikly informace o tom že Windows 8 by měli vyjít již v roce 2012, ale zdaleka nemusí nést název Windows 8, Microsoft uvedl že je to jen kódové označení.
